The Fund encourages the creation of projects that are distinctively research-oriented in the artistic and scientific fields and aims to create doctoral and/or post-doctoral contracts in collaboration with universities and research institutions.
In order to fulfil its objectives and the strategic axes outlined above, the BM Fund collaborates in the creation of bridges across the fields of artistic, intellectual, scientific, technological and economic creation, supporting and developing the following actions as a priority:
– create partnerships with university scientific research centres, in order to establish scholarships and artistic and scientific residencies;
– disseminate and promote artistic and cultural practices, especially research in the plastic arts, writing, publishing, theatre and human sciences;
– encourage international productions and intercultural and interdisciplinary exchanges, where science and art meet;
– provide support to projects in the fields of education, lifelong learning and higher education, social integration;
– contribute to the creation and development of social networks and new forms of communication in the above-mentioned sectors.
